‘Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle’ collects Rs 15.84 crore box office income in 3 days

Newly released American action adventure comedy movie ‘Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle’ earned Rs 15.84 crore total box office collection in 3 days. In initial weekend, the multi-starrer Hollywood film collected Rs 20.27 crore (Gross) income in India. Directed by Jake Kasdan, the latest English movie is expected to surpass Rs 20 crore mark in first week.

Commencing the box office journey on an average note, the Hollywood movie collected a satisfactory income of Rs 4.11 crore on first day of its release. Releasing on average number of screens in India, the English movie experienced huge box office competition with Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan starrer Hindi film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

After taking a decent start on Indian box office, the American film witnessed slight surge in the theatre occupancy on Saturday. Facing sufficient growth in the public response, the comedy adventure movie registered a business of Rs 5.23 crore on Saturday and totalled Rs 9.34 crore overall earnings in two days.

Showcasing progress in the performance on Sunday, the film received maximum response from the spectators in cinema halls. Attracting a good number of audience on national holiday, the movie amassed Rs 6.50 crore on third day of release. The movie witnessed highest occupancy on day 3 and garnered satisfactory income at Indian box office.

Apart from bagging an average revenue in India, the new Hollywood movie also exhibited excellent performance in the foreign countries. The film earned magnificent earnings in the international market and emerged as one of the highest opener movies in Hollywood film industry.
