‘Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle’ earns Rs 6 crore box office collection on day 4


Latest Hollywood movie ‘Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle’ raked in Rs 6 crore on fourth day of its release in India. Featuring ‘Fast and Furious’ actor Dwayne Johnson in leading role, the new English movie collected a total income of Rs 21.84 crore in 4 days.

Witnessing steady occupancy in the morning shows, the latest American movie received average response from the film-watchers. Popular filmmaker Jake Kasdan’s directorial venture showcased admirable performance in domestic arena and garnered thumping business of Rs 15.84 crore in three days.

Though the film went through competitive phase against newly released Bollywood movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, it managed to amass satisfactory monetary profit in initial days of release. Collecting Rs 4.11 crore on Friday, the Hollywood movie exhibited improvement in its performance on following day and minted Rs 5.23 crore on Saturday.

After garnering a total income of Rs 9.34 crore in 2 days, the action adventure comedy film witnessed sudden hike in the public response on Sunday. Receiving maximum response from the spectators in theatres, the new Hollywood film bagged Rs 6.50 crore income on 3rd day of its release.

The multi-starrer film has seen an average occupancy in the cinema halls in 4 days. Releasing on 29th December 2017, the American movie faced tremendous box office competition with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer new Hindi film. The Bollywood movie surpassed Rs 250 crore mark in ten days at Indian box office.
