Much awaited Tamil language movie ‘Nachiyaar’ released today. The film released on more than 300 screens in Tamil Nadu. Featuring famous south Indian actress Jyothika in leading role, the action thriller film was about to hit screens on 9th February this year. To avoid clash with Akshay Kumar’s Hindi movie ‘PadMan’, filmmakers postponed the release date of this movie.
Produced under the banner of ‘B Studios’, the Tamil film is being screened in many cinema halls situated in major cities of Tamil Nadu. As the craze for Tamil version of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bollywood movie ‘Padmavati’ has declined in most of the theatres across the state, the latest Tamil film (Nachiyaar) is finding it quite easy to engage more audience in the cinema halls.
As south Indian actress Jyothika has a huge fan following in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, her new action film is getting a good response in south India. The film was cleared with ‘UA’ certificate in January this year. As the movie did not have any controversial content, it didn’t face any controversy in India.
Based on the life of a police officer, the movie narrates how a policewoman takes strict action against a fruit shop vendor who is accused of assaulting his girlfriend. People are responding to this film with a positive feedback on the social media. Critics also have praised the movie’s story as well as the on-screen performance of Jyothika. It is good sign for the film to earn a whopping collection at Andhra Box Office.
As the movie is receiving positive response from the cinema lovers, trade analysts have predicted that the movie will witness maximum occupancy in the weekend days. The film will earn huge income in the opening weekend if it receives a huge public response on Saturday and Sunday. Latest box office figures are awaited.
