After taking a thundering start to the box office journey, Keerthy Suresh starrer new Tamil film witnessed abrupt drop in the public response on Saturday. Failing to gain steady response from the moviegoers, the south Indian movie earned Rs 4.50 crore on 2nd day of its release.
Earning Rs 20.75 crore total worldwide box office collection in 2 days, Vignesh Shiban’s directorial venture failed to receive maximum response on Sunday. Witnessing average theatre occupancy on third day of release, the Tamil language movie bagged an income of Rs 5.50 crore and earned Rs 26.25 crore total box office collection in 3 days.
In Tamil Nadu, the action movie received maximum response from film-watchers and amassed a total income of Rs 35.1 crore at Tamil Nadu box office. Telugu version of the film impressed a major chunk of audience in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Managing to gain a good response in Telugu speaking regions, the movie registered a business of Rs 9.9 crore at Andhra Box Office.
Releasing on a good number of screens in other south Indian states, ‘Thaanaa Serndha Koottam’ received helm response in Kerala and Karnataka.
