‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ earns Rs 2.56 crore box office collection on day 20

Newly released Hindi movie witnessed drastic drop in the public response on 20th day of release. Facing 10-15% occupancy in the cinema halls, the latest Bollywood movie collected Rs 2.56 crore box office collection on 3rd Wednesday. With the addition of this income, total business of the movie became Rs 316.74 crore.

Kicking off the box office journey on a higher note, Ali Abbas Jafar’s directorial venture amassed a huge income of Rs 34.10 crore on first day of release. Continuing to earn whopping amount at Indian box office, the Bollywood film raked in Rs 35.30 crore on 2nd day of its release in India.

Witnessing thundering growth in the public response, the Hindi movie bagged Rs 45.53 crore income on 3rd day of release. After surpassing Rs 100 crore mark in first weekend, the movie faced minor decline in the theatre occupancy on 4th day and minted Rs 36.55 crore box office collection on 1st Monday.

Entering Rs 150 crore club in 5 days, the action film pocketed Rs 21.60 crore on 5th day. Facing gradual drop in the response from audiences, the Bollywood movie garnered Rs 17.55 crore on 6th day. Earning Rs 15.42 crore on 7th day, the Hindi film grossed Rs 200 crore in seven days and became the 2nd highest grosser movie of year 2017.

After completing one week at India’s box office, the Hindi film maintained its excellent performance in the cinema halls and received a good response from film-watchers. On 8th day, Salman Khan starrer action thriller movie amassed Rs 11.56 crore. Experiencing surge in the public response, the Hindi film collected Rs 14.92 crore on 9th day of release.

Receiving huge response on 2nd Sunday, Katrina Kaif starrer Hindi film earned Rs 22.23 crore and collected Rs 250 crore in 10 days. Produced under the banner of ‘Yash Raj Films’, the Hindi movie bagged a total income of Rs 300 crore at worldwide box office. Featuring senior actor Paresh Rawal in supporting role, the movie earned Rs 50 crore in overseas.

Facing consistent declination in the public response, the movie registered a business of Rs 18.04 crore on 11th day. Witnessing more decline in the theatre occupancy, the Bollywood film earned Rs 7.82 crore on 12th day, Rs 5.84 crore on 13th day, Rs 5.09 crore on 14th day and Rs 3.72 crore on 15th day.

After crossing Rs 270 crore mark, the movie witnessed slight increment in the public response in the third weekend and collected an income of Rs 5.62 crore on 16th day. Facing further growth in the earnings, the movie pocketed Rs 8.27 crore on 17th day of release.

Witnessing sharp decline in the overall occupancy, the action movie raked in Rs 2.72 crore on 18th day. The film maintained consistency in its performance on next two days. The second part of 2012’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ movie earned Rs 2.56 crore and Rs 2.30 crore income on 19th and 20th day, respectively.
